Vegan Chocolate Chip Bars (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2⅓ cups gluten-free rolled oats (divided)
02 - 1 large banana
03 - ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
04 - 2 flax eggs
05 - ½ teaspoon sea salt
06 - 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
07 - ¼ cup date syrup

08 - ½ cup vegan chocolate chips

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
02 - Add all ingredients except chocolate chips and ⅓ cup of oats to a blender and blend until smooth.
03 - Stir in the chocolate chips and remaining oats until evenly distributed.
04 - Pour the batter into a baking dish and spread evenly to the edges.
05 - Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until edges are golden. Allow to cool for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.

01 - This cookie dough resembles a thick cake batter - thin with a few tablespoons of almond milk if needed.
