Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

Thoroughly butter two 8 oz ramekins.

Melt chocolate and butter in microwave for 45 seconds. Stir until chips are completely melted. Whisk in egg and egg yolk until fully incorporated. Add vanilla, salt, powdered sugar and flour, mixing until smooth.

Bake for 10 minutes until edges are set but center remains soft. Serve in ramekins or carefully unmold onto plates. Top with ice cream or whipped cream if desired.
