Creamy white pizza with garlic sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan—a comforting option for dinner and gatherings.

# Ingredients:

→ Garlic Pizza Sauce

01 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
02 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
03 - 1¼ cups whole milk
04 - ¼ teaspoon sea salt
05 - ¼ teaspoon black pepper
06 - 3 cloves garlic, very finely chopped
07 - ¼ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

→ Pizza Base and Topping

08 - 1 pizza crust, homemade or store-bought, 12-14 inches diameter
09 - 8 oz low-moisture mozzarella cheese, grated
10 - ½ cup prepared garlic pizza sauce
11 - ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
12 - ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
13 - 1 teaspoon olive oil
14 - 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chiffonade

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Whisk in the flour and continue whisking for about 2 minutes without browning. Gradually whisk in the milk until the mixture becomes smooth, thick, and bubbly, approximately 3-5 minutes. Incorporate the sea salt, black pepper, and finely chopped garlic, whisking to combine. Add the parmesan cheese and whisk until melted. Remove from heat, allow to cool before use or refrigerate for up to 5 days.
02 - Preheat the oven to 450ºF (232ºC).
03 - Roll out the pizza crust on a 12-14 inch pizza pan. Brush the crust with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
04 - Spread the prepared garlic pizza sauce evenly over the crust. Top with grated mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
05 - Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is cooked through and the cheeses are melted.
06 - Remove the pizza from the oven and garnish with chiffonade basil before serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - You can use a rectangular baking sheet instead of a pizza pan. Slice into squares or strips for serving.
02 - Pair this dish with a side salad or roasted vegetables for a balanced meal.
