Hot Honey Pepperoni Ricotta Pizza (Printable Version)

Crispy crust with pepperoni, basil ricotta, gooey cheese, and hot honey for a spicy-sweet kick.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pizza dough
02 - ¾ cup marinara sauce
03 - 2 cups mozzarella cheese or a mix with provolone cheese
04 - 15 slices of pepperoni
05 - ⅓ cup ricotta cheese
06 - 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
07 - 2 tablespoons hot honey

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat the oven to 550°F or the highest temperature your oven can go.
02 - Dust the pizza dough with a little flour and stretch into a 14 inch circle with a 1 inch slightly thicker crust. If using a pizza steel/stone, place the dough onto a piece of parchment paper on a pizza peel or upside-down baking sheet. Alternatively, dust a pizza peel with cornmeal. For a baking sheet, dust it with flour or cornmeal and place the dough directly onto it.
03 - Spread marinara sauce over the pizza dough, leaving 1 inch around the edges for the crust.
04 - Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly across the pizza and top with pepperoni slices.
05 - In a small bowl, mix ricotta cheese with chopped fresh basil. Dollop teaspoons of the mixture across the pizza.
06 - Bake the pizza for 10 minutes or until the cheese is lightly browned and the crust is golden. If using a pizza steel/stone, remove the parchment paper 2 minutes into cooking. Rotate the pizza halfway through for even baking.
07 - Garnish the pizza with fresh basil and drizzle with hot honey before serving.
