Place cauliflower florets with about 240ml water in a large pot. Bring water to a boil and steam until the florets are fork tender, about 10 minutes.

Remove cauliflower from heat and drain thoroughly.

Transfer drained cauliflower to a food processor or blender. Add coconut milk, butter, nutritional yeast, and garlic powder.

Blend or process until completely smooth and fluffy.

Taste and adjust seasonings with additional salt and pepper as needed.

Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of black pepper if desired.
